Meditation is the Medicine

Learning to let go is learning to let come in. We have a choice to grow our mind. The temptation of basic human needs to hold onto things, people, the past can be overcome. In Buddhism teaching the experience of true reality is achieved by letting go, freeing ourselves from all suffering. The mind and the body are two very distinct phenomena. Mind is formless but perceives objects, holds thoughts, the body is substantial but disintegrates after death. But mind continues from life to life. Knowledge of the nature of your own mind is crucial to understand as it is in the mind that the healing to all our suffering begin. If we do nothing to heal our mind, we will experience the same illness as we repeat the same actions that caused us to become physically in our body unhealthy. Our negative experiences and thoughts leave imprints on our mind which then manifest as disease or further problems disturbing our wellbeing. A person's attitude in daily life is the greatest wisdom to have to live a healthy and content, meaningful everyday life, no matter the past experiences. Meditation is our inner medicine as it fosters a deep connection to your mind to your own body. What you do with your mind is what defines who you are and how you feel, and how is the state of your health status physically, emotionally and spiritually. In our daily meditation we achieve a discipline towards our own positive attitude. Love, compassion, kindness are peaceful and healthy and the only positive thoughts for our own healing. The transformation of the mind is our ultimate healing, and the healing comes through meditation and positive thinking. Knowledge and power are not enough, we need to develop self-compassion in order to deepen and connect to our inner wisdom which further connects us to our true self. The wisdom will purify our mind, it will liberate the mind from all attachments, ignorance, anger, or disturbing, negative thoughts even from imprints left on us from previous generations. With the complete development of compassion and wisdom the mind is free is able to seek highest form of happiness and enlightenment.
