Japanese Face Sculpting with Masa Sugiyama

Dear Masa Sugiyama, I feel truly fortunate to meet you.

We all know time gives our facial features a sculptural depth. Masa makes you feel that our physical signs of aging are not to be view as a decline, but as a living history of our truth, wisdom, of our unique health, beauty and resilience. Masa is the grandiose master sculptor of face work, and her story to achieve her excellence through perseverance is inspiring. Her expertise and dedication transform her knowledgeable, personalized work into an extraordinary experience.

She is the pioneering artist with depth of knowledge in her professional work on face and neck. Her work is the foundation in understanding that our face; especially women face, maps the beautiful, unique journey we have been on through our life's and experiencing the many emotions and stress and joy in life.

Masa as a Japanese health expert has been on her own professional journey to learn and explore the wisdom of beauty and wellbeing. She obtained expertise in several disciplines including Seitai for beauty, Depreopathy, Fude lymph drainage, Reiki and Core-fit. She incorporates many principles of alignments, many therapeutic techniques, energy healing, and mindful, deeply caring hands movements when working with you.

It is a powerfully transformative, relaxing session; were Masa carefully works on your face and neck, her skilful approach feels as delicate art of work on all of your face muscles. She works on masticatory muscles and muscles that are prone to tension such as the trapezius and occipital muscles, the superficial muscles of the neck, the platysma, sternocleidomastoid muscles all to release fascial adhesions, to restore muscle tightness and enhance your facial contours. You feel your lymphatic and capillary circulation improved, you see the positive effect of reduced swelling on your face, and all the skin dullness from stress, work, lack of sleep is gone. I noticed my wrinkles at relaxed state and to me; wrinkles on face defines my beauty. I felt immensely proud of how naturally, healthy, radiant, beautiful my face looked after Masa therapeutic touch and care and her exceptional work.

Because Masa focus on precision and rejuvenation, her highly effective work is visible right after and long after. You feel calm, content, you keep smiling at yourself. It is the most relaxing, aesthetic facial work I had experienced, that made my face look brighter, lighter, with visibly sharper, more lifted up features and a more radiant appearance.

After many years of practice, she developed a unique method of face sculpting that incorporates both gentle cranial therapy and Japanese brushing to release toxins, stimulate circulation and enhance body overall immunity.

I am deeply honoured to have met Masa in person in Chiva Som in November 2025. And to be personally invited by Masa to experience her treatment. As therapists; we have a privilege of exchanging our work if we choose to and wish to share our knowledge with each other’s. The moment I met Masa in person I felt her energy of healing and her deep inner calm and care and when she asked me and invited me personally to work on each other’s then in Chiva-Som I felt like this is the beginning of our friendships, both; professionally and personally.

I believe there is a distinct elegance in a relaxed, natural face that tells a story of our own life, and every time we look in our mirror, we read our own story. After Masa's work on my face, I felt proud of who I am seeing in the mirror. I cried, but those tears were happy.

I love you, Masa. Thank you for your time and care, and the conversations we had about the meaning of life, I keep your hand written notes with me and read them and smile in my heart.
