Safari, East Africa

Africa changed my heart and inspired my soul. Nairobi, Kenya, Tanzania. With every day being then and there; and especially on Safari, travelling into wilderness, I felt at peace within myself, present in my body, mind and heart. The Lion looked straight into my eyes and that changed something inside me on a profound level.

Something on that continent transcends everything within you, and you return back to your life feeling anew, re-born, with a change of heart, stronger spirit and kindness, appreciation to yourself, others and the world.

A lunch on safari is such a culinary adventure with the many breathtaking settings.

Celebrating the joy of being together and experiencing these life inspiring moments is what gives life its deepest meaning.

Coffee at 5:30am on day 3 to have energy to arrive as soon as possible at Kibo Hut to eat an early dinner, and try to get some sleep. As we had to be waking up around midnight to begin our final summit steep climbing to Uhuru.

SOCRATES, travels with me.

I always meet new friends, this one is very special and rare, only to find in Africa.

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro is the adventure of a lifetime. Rising 5,895 meters above the Tanzanian ground, which it is the highest peak in Africa and the world's tallest free standing mountain, the altitude sickness is a real threat on summit. Prioritize pacing your heart for acclimatization; the slow POLE, POLE for keeping sustainable pace it is the only way up there. Monitor your heart rate; at such high altitude; rhythmic, controlled breathing, hydration, safes your life.

Climbing Kilimanjaro was unforgettable experience, but I had to asked my older brother if he thinks, I have the strenght or stamina to climb the Mountain Kilimandjaro. And when my brother said; there is 'no mountain too high' for me, I smile, I took his advice and climbed Kilimandjaro with him and his family.
